Rap Music on Trial + We Do It 4 The Culture

Join us on "Hip Hop Can Save America" as host Manny Faces welcomes director J.M. Harper and Kemba, rapper and face of the new Paramount+ documentary, "As We Speak: Rap Music on Trial" which examines the use of rap music lyrics as evidence in court cases. While attention has been on the issue due to the Young Thug RICO charge trial in Atlanta, the issue -- and its problems -- are widespread.

In addition, Manny talks with Jamila Sams, founder of Hip Hop-based curriculum program, "We Do It 4 The Culture," which helps teachers and parents increase students' academic achievement through Hip Hop approach to concepts such as social and emotional learning (SEL)

And as always, we'll try and also cover recent Hip Hop news that isn't about dumb sh*t!
