Occupational Science x Hip Hop with Dr. Jian Jones

Manny Faces welcomes Dr. Jian Jones, an occupational therapist, occupational scientist, educator, and spoken word artist. As an assistant professor at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, Dr, Jones utilizes Hip Hop pedagogy as an instructional practice to bridge concepts to knowledge for graduate students. Dr. Jones researches the Black lived experience through the trifocal of Hip Hop, occupation, and identity. By using the provocative proclamation that the future of occupation is Hip Hop, Dr. Jones has been accepted to speak at various conferences and institutions, including Florida State University, UNC-Chapel Hill, and Harvard University.

And as always, we'll try and also cover recent Hip Hop news and upcoming events that aren't about dumb sh*t!
