Macklemore's "Hind's Hall 2024" - Pandering or true Hip Hop activism?

Rising from the rubble of the Kendrick Lamar and Drake onslaught battle, a Hip Hop savior (?) attempts to demonstrate that Hip Hop can be more than just schoolyard taunts and TMZ-worthy blasts of TMI.

Many praised Macklemore's coincidental (?) timing of a politically charged, pro-Palestinian screed over beats, as if it was some sort of reminder that hip hop can still be a force for impactful change in the world.

The problem with this of course, is that it ignores the multitude of ways that hip hop music and culture are already being used as forces for impactful change in the world.

Also, pandering much?

And so I speak upon this, as I implore fans of Hip ahop music and culture, and advocates for social justice, to realize that there is way more to this intersection than anything that any artist could possibly deliver in less than 3 minutes.
